About DTSC VIC & TAS

The Victoria and Tasmania Dementia Training Study Centre is led by La Trobe University’s Australian Centre for Evidence Based Aged Care (ACEBAC).

Our National Priority Areas are:

  • General Practitioners and Practice Nurses
  • Medical Specialists
  • Acute care staff

Through collaboration with our partner organisations, we provide a range of multidisciplinary dementia education options and activities aimed at increasing best practice among health professionals in dementia care environments. Through our partnerships and foundation within the ACEBAC, we provide health professionals and students with access to flexible, multidisciplinary training and education based on the latest research evidence.
