A recent Master Class was conducted in Melbourne on needs driven dementia compromised behaviours in the acute care setting and dementia care experts included Professor David Ames, Director of the National Ageing Research Institute and University of Melbourne Foundation Professor of Ageing & Health; Professor Elizabeth Beattie, Professor of Aged Care and Dementia Nursing, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Queensland University of Technology and the Director of the Dementia Collaborative Research Centre: Carers and Consumers; and Melissa Kettle, Manager of the Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service in Victoria (DBMAS).
Further Master Classes and workshops will be conducted in 2012 in Victoria and Tasmania.
