Dementia Scholarship

The Dementia Training Study Centre (DTSC) are funding 10 Honours Scholarships in 2016, with support from the Australian Journal of Dementia Care (AJDC).  The Scholarships aim to improve the care of people living with dementia, so we would like to hear how your Honours project could do that.

We are giving away 10 Honours Scholarships to the value of $5,000 each!!

The first 20 eligible applicants will also receive a one year subscription to the AJDC.

The competition is open to any full time Honours students from a health related discipline, enrolled in an Australian university.

How to submit:

  1. Read the competition’s terms and conditions which you can download by clicking HERE.
  2. In 1,000 words (or less), please summarise how your Honours project will IMPROVE THE CARE OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA.
  3. Winners will be judged on how well their summary addresses the judging criteria, which can be accessed by clicking HERE.
  4. Download the APPLICATION FORM, have it signed by your supervisor and ask them to write you a letter of support for your application.
  5. Send your SUMMARY, APPLICATION FORM & LETTER OF SUPPORT FROM SUPERVISOR to dementia-scholarship@uow.edu.au

We will accept applications from 1 December 2015 - 31 March 2016.
