Why LGBTI ageing should be everyone’s business

Why LGBTI ageing should be everyone’s business

A video recording of a presentation by Dr Jude Comfort, Adjunct Research Associate, Curtin University, GRAI (GLBTI Rights in Ageing Inc.) Board Member on 18 March 2015 for WA DTSC.

This seminar examined some of the issues around Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex (LGBTI) ageing and aged care from both the perspective of the client and the role of the service provider.

While not specifically addressing dementia issues, the session provided an overview to both start or continue the conversation on how this may impact in specialist services addressing needs of LGBTI people with dementia.
