“Where is that toilet”  – Continence and Dementia

The session aims to improve continence care for those with dementia and will cover:

  • Cognition and the impact on toileting
  • Assessing the continence problems
  • Challenging behaviours and toileting
  • Environmental changes to promote continence
  • Practical strategies to support the person with dementia and incontinence

The WA Dementia Training Study Centre (WA DTSC) holds free one hour dementia seminars every year to provide practical information on popular topics in dementia care and to give you the opportunity to network with colleagues.
