WA seminar, July 2011 – Assistive technology for people with dementia

As the population of people with dementia increases and with advances in technology it is important we keep up to date on what Assistive Technology (AT) is available to assist those with dementia and how it can help them. AT is defined and an ethical framework that underpins the use of AT is presented. A number of case studies demonstrate the application of different types of AT for people with varying degrees of Dementia.
