Overcoming the stigma of dementia and finding a cure

For the 32,000 people in Western Australia who have a form of dementia and their families, finding successful treatments as well as ending the stigma of dementia are urgent concerns.

Rhonda Parker, chief executive of Alzheimer’s WA, told a 720 ABC Perth forum on dementia that the stigma around the illness is the biggest issue.
